MICROSOFT OFFICE 2003 TIPS


Encrypting : it’s a process of changing the text to a format which makes it difficult for other to understand. This is basically to prevent unauthorised personell from understanding the contents of the document


· to encrypt follow the instructions
Toolsà Protect Document

· To decrypt the file
Wite down the user accounts of those personell and select start enforcing protetion.
(only users whose user names are mentioned will be able to decrypt the file)

· To unprotect a document
toolsà unprotect the document

· Protecting a power point file with a password
open the file you want to protect and do the following

Tools à OptionsàSecurity, enter the password.
